I decided to include my personal branding projects, conceptualized and real-life, because they showcase my personality in a way that I get to fully choose. Designing for myself allows me to explore my values and creative voice without limitations, resulting in branding that is 100% authentic and strategic.

To me, personal branding requires the same level of research and problem-solving as client projects with even higher expectations as I am my own harshest critic. Knowing that it represents my design decisions and evolving identity, I spend a good amount of time pondering how I can display all of myself through a few select pieces. What are others going to interpret about me as a designer, and how can I involve them further?

Because of this, I include floral, abstracted patterns that are black, white, and two shades of green with a minimalistic background to represent my fun, creative side with my serious, hardworking side. The same can be said for my logotype with my first name in a bold, sans-serif font followed by an italicized, serif typeface. I also make sure all my personal projects include some type of way for anyone to become connected with me.
